Judicium Ultimum abs Timotheus Anno Domine MMX
is a painting inspired by the Douay-Rheims version of the Apocolypse, one of the most accurately translated versions of the Holy Bible. This painting transpired over a two year period until its completion February 2010. The Last Judgment as described by St John starts with vivid image of Christ holding seven stars in his right hand and seven golden candlestands. There are only six candlestands in the painting, a mystery in itself! This painting would make an awesome altarpiece!
